They are seeking a Senior IT Product Manager for their API Office to collaborate with API development teams, translate their needs into requirements, and manage product strategies related to API platforms.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with API development teams to understand their needs related to our API platforms, standards, and processes
Translate their needs into requirements and collaborate with teams that will design, build and roll out new capabilities
Ensure APIs produced deliver value and reusability to the business
Partner with solution teams to ensure the APIs are well documented in our API Marketplace
Mature our practices related to product management
Qualification
Required
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours
8 years of related experience in the field of information technology, preferably supporting a large organization
3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role
Working knowledge of REST API concepts and platforms
Experience with API Marketplaces
Experience organizing and leading governance efforts/meetings
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
Proven experience developing product strategies and effectively communicating recommendations to executive leadership
Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology and workflow management tools
Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Technical background with experience in API development and software development practices
Working knowledge of event/EDA API concepts and platforms
Experience managing an API Marketplace, including administration and enhancements
Certified Agile or Scrum Product Owner
Experience managing JIRA based Agile teams and SharePoint customer knowledgebase sites
Experience with the Kong API gateway product
Experience with Solace Event Driven Architecture product
Experience in leadership and team management
