Responsibilities

Generate sales through cold calls, pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization
Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships to generate future sales and repeat business
Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands
Develop and implement sales strategies and account development plans to build a meaningful and executable pipeline of opportunities necessary to exceed monthly and annual goals through systematic sales touches with both existing and prospective accounts
Oversee the entire sales cycle including account management, closing new prospective opportunities, building rapport, and educating both prospects and existing customers on our solutions and our competitive advantages
Prepare clear and effective written ROI and RFP proposals and quotations for prospective and current customers
Serve as key liaison between clients and production to create a seamless workflow
Participate as a key team player by supporting operations as needed
Develop long-term sales plans for key customers and monitor and adapt sales activities to meet objectives
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all Primerica internal support functions and departments
Create and maintain accurate and timely records of all customer and prospect interactions
Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met
Follow company policy and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed and impact work has on departments or company compliance
Follow up with customers on past due accounts receivable when necessary
Coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives to achieve their sales targets
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Required

6-10 years experience with commercial printing required
Must possess strong communication, presentation, problem identification, and solution skills
Strong influencing, negotiation, and time management skills

Preferred

Knowledge of Commercial printing sales, products and services preferred
