Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize Android applications and system services for device-side implementations
Debug and resolve issues across application, framework, and kernel layers
Customize Android builds (AOSP) for device-specific requirements
Work with camera, audio, sensors, connectivity, and telephony stacks at the framework and HAL level
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and system validation to ensure reliability and quality
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Required

6+ years of hands-on experience in Android development, with focus on system and device side (not just apps)
Strong knowledge of AOSP, Android framework, and system services
Experience with Android debugging tools (adb, systrace, logcat, perf, dumpsys)
Exposure to hardware integration (Camera, Audio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Sensors, GPS)
Experience in version control systems (Git, Gerrit) and CI/CD pipelines
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field

Preferred

Experience in Automotive Infotainment, IoT, or Consumer Electronics
Familiarity with Android Security, SELinux policies, and permission models
Contributions to AOSP or open-source Android projects
Knowledge of cross-functional Agile/Scrum development environments
