Responsibilities
Implement and manage Microsoft Defender and Sentinel solutions to protect against threats and vulnerabilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts, and respond to incidents promptly
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
Oversee the advancement and security of SharePoint environments
Ensure proper access controls and data protection measures are in place
Collaborate with teams to optimize SharePoint usage and security
Assess and improve the organization's data security posture
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
Implement best practices for data protection and compliance
Deploy and manage MDI to detect and respond to identity-based threats
Analyze identity-related security incidents and implement corrective actions
Manage MDE to protect endpoints from advanced threats
Perform threat hunting and incident response activities
Ensure endpoints are compliant with security policies
Secure cloud applications using MDCA
Monitor cloud app activities and enforce security policies
Investigate and mitigate cloud security incidents
Assist in the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency within the organization
Conduct regular evaluations and testing of Copilot to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies to continuously improve and innovate solutions
Train external clients on general use cases for Copilot as well as specific complex, multi-layed prompts for Copilot
Qualification
Required
3+ years of demonstrable advisory and administrative/support assignments related to the security & compliance functions found within M365 and other related enterprise products
Professional certifications in enterprise security and compliance functions are desired: Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Symantec Security Certifications
A bachelor degree (or equivalent) is preferred, but not a requirement
Exceptional problem solving skills and technical acumen
Independent direction for daily tasks
Collaborative mindset and service orientation
Domestic U.S. and international travel is variable #remote
