Responsibilities

Design refrigeration systems for food distribution centers, cold storage, and food processing facilities
Develop flow diagrams, plans and specifications for refrigeration systems
Perform heat load calculations to determine facility refrigeration requirements
Conduct heat transfer and thermodynamic analysis associated with sizing and selection of refrigeration equipment, piping, and control valves
Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to others in the development of construction layouts, documents and specifications for projects

Required

Degree in Engineering
Knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, engineering standards and codes
Ability to analyze complex engineering problems
Advanced technological proficiency including strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to handle a dynamic, fast paced workload of multiple assignments

Preferred

Successful completion of EIT or PE exam
5 years industrial refrigeration engineering and design experience
