MRI TECHNOLOGIST - WEEKEND DAYS
The George Washington University Hospital is recognized as a leading healthcare provider in the D.C. region, achieving high performance in various specialties. They are seeking an MRI Technologist for weekend shifts to provide clinical services according to MRI practice standards and support MRI students and other technologists in ensuring optimal department functions.

Provide clinical services according to MRI practice standards
Act as a resource to MRI students and other technologists
Ensure optimal department functions
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate or equivalent
Diploma from certified school of Radiology
Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Two (2) years of experience as a MRI tech and acute care experience preferred
Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) and Title 22 standards and guidelines
Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times
Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public
Must have working knowledge of computers and basic management applications
Preferred
Two (2) years of experience as a MRI tech and acute care experience preferred
BS or MS in healthcare preferred
