Engineering Manager - Notebook Dataplane

In this role, the Engineering Manager will lead the Notebook Dataplane team and drive the technical vision and execution for a stateful user code execution service, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities
Define and drive the stateful user code execution service vision
Partner with serverless platform teams to build the service
Own the roadmap and execution, ensuring all team deliverables are met with high quality and on schedule
Define team best practices for engineering excellence, including design reviews, code quality, testing strategies, and performance optimizations
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the stack
Qualification
Required
10+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong track record of technical leadership and impact
3+ years of engineering management experience
Experience designing, building, and operating scalable SaaS platforms
Expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern web application architectures
Strong system-level skills
Strong ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams to align technical strategy with company growth objectives
Passion for the data intelligence space
Preferred
Experience with containers and K8S is highly desirable
