Senior Water Project Manager

Responsibilities
Deliver projects across Alaska, including conveyance, storage, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and planning
Provide leadership and coordination to multi-discipline delivery teams
Manage and/or lead projects in accordance with the contract requirements and Jacobs’ business processes, driving profitability and building new business opportunities
Support the development of strategies and tactics related to key client programs, projects and overall portfolios
Work with business development and sales staff in their efforts to position for new opportunities and/or the preparation of proposals
Promote a culture of caring, quality, safety, and inclusion and diversity
Coach, develop, and mentor staff to deliver superior results collectively and individually
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Environmental or Mechanical preferred)
Minimum 15 years in the industry with directly applicable project management experience
Professional Engineer license (P.E.) (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
Proven experience managing and designing small to large water planning and infrastructure projects
Demonstrated aptitude, ability, and capacity to build and support a team
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or demonstrated commensurate project management experience and skills
A strong network with local municipalities or other water/wastewater clients
