Responsibilities
Develop and implement advanced ML frameworks, such as graph neural networks and deep learning models, to solve critical business problems related to recommendation of PayPal products, personalizing product experiences and Shopping Ranking and Recommendations
Design and deploy scalable generative AI solutions as part of the ecosystem
Design and deploy scalable AI solutions that enhance PayPal's ability to provide a seamless customer experience, by working closely with our engineering group and PayPal's Platforms organization
Communicate complex concepts and the results of models and analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences, influencing partners and customers with your insights and expertise
Shape Architecture and bring alignment across platform teams on MLOPs flows
Influence the Direction of team and bring state-of-the-art to Market
Qualification
Required
Masters degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.) with 7+ yrs. of relevant industry experience or PhD with 6+ yrs. of relevant industry experience
Proficient in Programming languages such as Python, SQL
Familiarity in relevant machine learning frameworks and packages such as Tensorflow and PyTorch
Fluent spoken and written English communication with business and engineering partners to exchange requirements, explain solution methodologies, and influence with insight
Preferred
Experience in any one of Recommendation/Ranking, Personalization, Search or Ads a big plus
GCP/Hadoop and big data experience – an advantage
Experience shipping Realtime models a big plus
