Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts
Prepare detailed UAT test plans and test cases, align with business requirements, and conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders
Track and report test case execution, providing regular status updates
Log and manage defects systematically using Jira; ensure proper categorization and prioritization
Build and maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure coverage
Perform various testing types: unit, integration, regression, smoke, user acceptance, system, stress, and performance testing
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, or JMETER
Write SQL queries for data validation and CRUD operations
Develop and review performance testing scripts, analyze and report results
Collaborate with Agile scrum teams to deliver release sprints on time with quality
Support development teams in Dev, Test, and UAT environments, including defect troubleshooting
Participate in test readiness reviews, providing recommendations for go/no-go decisions
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, end users, and team members to ensure alignment
Investigate and diagnose quality complaints, recommend corrective actions, and track improvements
Ensure compliance with SDLC processes, usability standards, and quality frameworks
Document testing activities and maintain accurate project tracking and reporting

Required

8+ years of Experience in writing and executing test cases, as well as creating test plans
8+ years of Knowledge of software usability concepts and requirements traceability, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process
8+ years of Knowledge of Xray Test Case management tool
8+ years of Knowledge of SQL query writing to perform CURD operations
8+ years of Proficient in using CI/CD pipelines to enhance software development testing processes
8+ years of Experience in conducting API Testing using Postman, SOAPUI, JMETER or similar
8+ years of Experience in writing and executing tests automation using UFT
