Responsibilities
Testing the output of our product teams within sprint timelines
Ensuring that sprint work maintains and even elevates our software's quality standards
Validating reported defects and meticulously assessing feature requests for ticket quality
Leveraging JIRA to record testing outcomes and monitor the development process
Crafting, maintaining, and executing test scripts to guarantee product functionality
Maintain our Regression Suite for specific product domains, adhering to best practices
Creating and updating pertinent documentation within Confluence
Qualification
Required
Possesses a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
Demonstrates the ability to uncover the underlying causes of defects efficiently
Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills essential for documenting test plans, reporting defects, and collaborating with developers and other team members
Displays a knack for critically evaluating software requirements, identifying potential gaps that may impact the testing process
Has a keen eye for detail, enabling a thorough examination of software and the precise documentation and tracking of test plans
Proficiently meets project deadlines while successfully managing multiple test cycles simultaneously
Preferred
Familiarity with maintenance planning and scheduling
A solid grasp of QA terminology, methodologies, and best practices
Demonstrated familiarity with programming languages
Functional and technical knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Maximo
Exposure to agile methodologies
Experience with software programs like Visual Studios, SourceTree, JMeter, or TestRail
