Responsibilities
Leading data collection, quantity calculations, and inspections/testing related to soil density, concrete, asphalt, and earthwork
Heavy lifting
Working outside in a variety of conditions on a regular basis
Ability to perform work independently
Travel to construction sites throughout the state
A valid driver’s license is required
Extended hours and overnight stays may be required
Qualification
Required
Two relevant certifications
A bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
An associate degree in construction management or related field plus at least two years of relevant experience
No degree plus at least four years of relevant experience
A valid driver's license is required
Heavy lifting
Working outside in a variety of conditions on a regular basis
Ability to perform work independently
Travel to construction sites throughout the state

NCDOT Certifications
ITS Experience
ICC Certifications
Leading inspectors performing highway materials sampling and testing
Oversight of interpretation of plans, drawings and specifications as relates to construction field tasks
Site Manager or other construction software
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
