Responsibilities

Lead and provide technical guidance to mechanical project teams

Manage and attend client meetings, ensuring project objectives are met

Oversee construction phase services with a focus on quality and efficiency

Mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and learning

Contribute to business development efforts with innovative solutions

Regular travel to military bases and airports as part of lead mechanical engineer role

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university

At least 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering

PE license in any state and have the ability to obtain in additional states as needed

Preferred

Expertise in many mechanical system types, such as hot water, chilled water, condenser water systems, VAV, Geothermal, VRF systems, DDC control systems

Experience in sustainable design, steam systems, commissioning services, and plumbing systems

Proven track record as a project lead

Experience in designing mechanical systems for Federal Government projects
