The role involves assisting with the analysis and design of water retaining structures, performing field observations, and preparing reports and design computations.

Responsibilities

Assisting with analyzing and designing new and renovated water retaining structures including, but not limited to, embankment dams and levees

Designing sheet pile and foundations

Performing stability, seepage, and settlement modeling of embankment dams and levees

Performing field observations and construction inspection (some travel will be required) for dams and levees

Preparing reports and design computations

Developing plans, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates
