5+ years expCotiviti is seeking a motivated Senior AI Engineer to contribute to the design and development of their agentic framework and centralized AI platform. This role will focus on implementing and integrating AI agents, experimenting with open-source AI tools, and supporting the delivery of customer-facing and internal AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities
Implement and maintain components of agentic AI framework under the guidance of senior engineers
Leverage open-source AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen) to build and experiment with agents for diverse use cases
Incorporate selected open-source solution into our agentic AI framework
Collaborate with product engineers to integrate AI agents into customer-facing applications and internal tools
Write clean, maintainable Python code for AI workflows, APIs, and data integration tasks
Assist in testing, debugging, and improving performance of AI-powered workloads
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team
Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting
Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
5 years of software engineering experience, with exposure to AI/ML concepts or platforms
Solid programming skills in Python
Hands-on experience with at least one agentic AI framework (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen) through projects, internships, or work experience
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as a team with a sense of urgency
Professional with the ability to properly handle confidential information
Be value-driven, understand that success is based on the impact of your work rather than its complexity or the level of effort
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Flexibility to work with global teams as well as geographically dispersed US-based teams
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area
Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance
Preferred
Familiarity with frameworks like FastAPI or Flask
Exposure to orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes)
Familiarity with modern LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
