The Flex Radiologic Technologist (RT) is responsible for performing x-ray services for patients, ensuring correct positioning and protection during procedures, and traveling between multiple sites to provide care. This role also involves maintaining equipment and ensuring quality assurance in the delivery of radiologic services.

Responsibilities
Under the clinical direction of the Medical Provider, perform x-ray services for patients by applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly
Ensure patients are positioned correctly on or in front of equipment and protected during use
Travel between multiple sites to provide X-ray services
Will need to push patient in a wheelchair
Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration of equipment; maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control logs for equipment troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and submit repair tickets as needed
The traveling nature of this role requires the Mobile RT Driving to be flexible and responsive to the needs of patients and the organization
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma (required)
Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire (obtained through the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required
Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
Valid State Driver's License
Must pass MVR background check
Preferred
Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures preferred
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Social perceptiveness and service oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software preferred
Previous clinical experience preferred
