Part Time Lecturer, Engineering Management
The University of the Pacific is seeking dynamic, student-focused instructors for their Engineering Management program. The role involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, preparing course materials, maintaining office hours for academic support, and collaborating with faculty to ensure course consistency and excellence.

Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in areas such as engineering project management, systems engineering, decision making, product design, engineering economics, and related engineering management topics
Preparing and delivering lectures, leading discussions, and developing course materials (syllabi, assignments, assessments, etc.)
Maintaining regular office hours to provide academic support and mentoring to students
Assessing student learning and providing timely feedback
Collaborating with program faculty to ensure consistency and excellence in course delivery and outcomes
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Engineering Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field
Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in project management in engineering or construction environments
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred
Ph.D. in a related field
Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional)
Prior university-level teaching experience
Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
Industry experience in engineering or construction project leadership roles
Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work
