The Manager of Compliance Assurance will focus on translating regulatory requirements into actionable controls, leveraging automation, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and internal policies.

Responsibilities
Provide second-line-of-defense oversight to establish enterprise-wide compliance assurance frameworks and monitoring programs relating to Dasher pay models, pay transparency, deactivations, training, and a host of product related compliance initiatives
Translate regulatory requirements into effective controls and perform testing, monitoring, and documentation to ensure compliance
Conduct compliance assessments and audits to evaluate adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standards
Partner with Legal, HR, Product, Operations, and other teams to embed compliance requirements into policies and processes
Develop and oversee data collection and validation for compliance reviews and regulatory reporting, driving efficiencies through automation where possible
Provide detailed reporting and insights that inform leadership and strengthen compliance posture
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or a related field
Proven track record of executing compliance programs in a fast-paced environment, preferably in technology or finance sectors
Deep understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, standards, and best practices
Experience conducting audits, testing controls, and reporting findings
Experience working cross-functionally to align on compliance standards and reporting processes
Demonstrated experience working with automated solutions for compliance operations
Preferred
Certifications such as the CIA, CISA, and CRISC or accreditation by industry bodies such as ACAMS in risk management or financial compliance, are preferred but not required
