Responsibilities
Implementing features in a test-driven style
Improving the design and architecture of existing applications to allow for greater flexibility and scale
Creating fast, clean, reproducible build processes
Evaluating new libraries, tools, and technologies, to bring continuous improvement and technical excellence to the organisation
Analyzing and improving application performance
Working with agility in an environment where teamwork and creativity are the keys to success
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or a related field
2+ years of experience writing and deploying production code
Knowledge of Java, incl. experience with Spring Boot and Gradle
Experience writing automated tests and using TDD
You are a team player, able to collaborate with others in the team and across the organisation
Excellent English, both verbal and written
Jersey City office location, 3 days per week
BS/BA or equivalent degree in computer science or similar
Preferred
Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industry
