Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, supervise, and carry out the activities of the MRI area

Demonstrates competency in all neuro, body, MSK and MR Angiography scans with the exception of Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI

Competent on all scanners at all THS facilities

Demonstrates competency in the use of pressure injector

Demonstrates competency in the use of MRI compatible patient monitoring system and medication pump

Competent in the performance of Breast MRI

Competent is the use of DynaCad for Breast and Prostate MRI

Required

Technical or Vocational school plus up to 2 years specialty training

One year of related experience

Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures

RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST

Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology Program

Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T)

Minimum of one year experience in MR field

A.R.R.T. Registered MRI Technologist
