Construction Project Controls Engineer
TSMC Arizona is a leader in semiconductor manufacturing, seeking a Construction Project Controls Engineer for their new fab project in Phoenix. The role involves project scheduling, risk management, and supporting construction teams to ensure timely execution of milestones and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
General responsibility of the Construction Project Controls Engineer:
Schedule Development & Monitoring:
Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules milestones, covering all phases from building, facility, and utility completion
Track project milestones and ensure timely execution of each phase
Monitor progress and report deviations from the schedule, providing corrective actions to minimize delays
Manpower and activity duration/date record for the ongoing project to provide benchmarks in the future
Perform milestone schedule updates and communicate adjustments to relevant teams
Risk Management & Problem Solving:
Identify and assess potential scheduling risks
Observe and notice for unforeseen scheduling conflicts or delays
Reporting & Documentation:
Supporting engineering team, construction team, and contractors to build implementing trackable construction KPIs, quantify the productivity, tacking logs, and holding subcontractors accountable to their actual progress to inform management of current plan
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering
3+ years of experience in the U.S. in construction scheduling, ideally for large-scale industrial or semiconductor projects
Familiar with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project, etc), data analysis software (Excel, etc) and reporting software (PowerPoint, Word, etc)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams
Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility
Preferred
Familiarity with semiconductor facility construction or high-tech manufacturing environments
Understanding of Arizona local construction regulations and practices
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with team members and stakeholders
Exceptional problem-solving abilities are necessary for successfully working under pressure
Flexibility to change priorities and responsibilities to support business needs
Willing to work in a clean room environment
Mandarin proficiency is a plus for communication with global TSMC teams
