Recruiting / Human Resources Intern

They are seeking a Recruiting/Human Resources intern who will support the Employee Services Department by assisting with recruiting efforts, communicating with candidates, and managing various HR tasks.

Responsibilities
Provides support with recruiting efforts by reviewing applicant resumes, creating interview questions, conducting phone screens, and onboarding
Communicate with candidates during the entire process
Meet with hiring managers to determine recruiting needs
Responsible for initiating back ground checks, paper work, and references
Assist with implementation of projects
Review and audit job postings on website
Other duties as needed and assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Preferred
Previous internship or work experience in Human Resources or Recruiting
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
