Required

Must have experience in teaching U.S. Coast Guard approved courses or have taken Train The Trainer course as required by STCW Rule A-I/6 and A-I/8

Must have or had at least one year experience at the Engineering Management Level such as Chief Engineer, First Assistant Engineer or Limited Chief Engineer

Must be in good physical condition

Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and presentation skills

Must have a working knowledge of computing systems and software, be a team player/leader, and place a high priority on student learning
