They are seeking highly motivated rising Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate students for their National Security Solutions (NSS) Systems Engineering Internship, where interns will explore Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches and develop training curriculum for engineers.

Responsibilities

Explore Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches for defense applications

Develop curriculum to train engineers in systems theory and MBSE

Gain a wide breadth of experience in SysML modeling to support MBSE education

Qualification

Required

Full-time rising junior, senior, or graduate student working toward an engineering degree, ABET-accredited preferred

Must work well in both a team environment and independently

Must have excellent computer skills

Must have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement

Self-motivated; takes ownership of projects and issues, and following issues through to resolution

Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

Major field of study: Systems and Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
