Makes vocal fold tissue bioreactor for tissue growth under dynamic loading
Designs bioreactor versus microfluidics and programs a piezoelectric substrate
Tests bioreactor using hydrogels and human cells and optimize growth parameters
Contributes to the overall laboratory goal of translating the proposed self-healing hydrogel system and platform into otolaryngology clinics in the United States when grant’s completed
