Work Study, Peer Financial Coach

Responsibilities
Assist students with navigating Financial Aid processes at the College
Applying for various financial aid programs
Navigating My Tri-C Space and Blackboard
Applying for public benefits
Assist the Student Financial Aid and Scholarships (SFAS) office in performing outreach activities, such as campus events, website review, and outbound phone calls
Completion of Financial Aid Applications and Documents (FAFSA, Scholarships, Verification Forms, SAP Appeals)
Department Outreach (Campus Events, Workshops, Financial Literacy)
Assist with SFAS Services
Other department and office duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum GPA of 2.0 and maintain semester enrollment of at least 6 credit hours
Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to follow directions with attention to detail
Proficient Computer and Technology Skills (Microsoft Office, Internet, Software Programs, etc.)
Ability to work as part of a team
Adhere to college's confidentiality policy
Successfully pass background check
Must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus
