RTC focuses on continual improvement and provides higher-performing solutions for clients in the retail sector. They are seeking a Sanitation and Recycling Sorter who will be responsible for processing and recycling plant scrap material, maintaining cleanliness in the scrap area, and ensuring proper sorting of recyclable materials.

Responsibilities

Process and recycle plant scrap material in an efficient manner

Maintain the cleanliness of the scrap area

Ensure recyclable material is sorted appropriately and report non-compliance

Operate machinery in accordance with all safety regulations

Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management

Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized per 6S standards

Perform other duties as required

Must be able to bend, lift, reach, and twist repetitively

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the course of the day

Must have good physical stamina and ability to handle hot/cold weather

Able to work in a team setting as well as work independently

Must be flexible with start and end times and work overtime when required
