Freight Brokerage Sales Manager

WSI (Warehouse Specialists, LLC) is seeking a Freight Brokerage Sales Manager to drive new business growth through customer engagement. The role involves managing the entire sales cycle, prospecting for new accounts, and collaborating with teams to ensure exceptional service and client retention.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with both new and existing clients
Prospect, generate leads, and land new accounts while expanding opportunities with current customers
Learn how to sell, negotiate, and close customers in a competitive, fast-paced environment
Utilize cutting-edge tools to track leads, manage your pipeline, and stay ahead of the competition
Collaborate with a variety of teams ensuring smooth transactions and world-class service
Identify opportunities to improve our offerings, value proposition, and sales cadence
Develop creative approaches to onboard, retain, and grow new customer accounts

Required

Proficient use of a keyboard, mouse, and monitor, as well as the ability to type, scroll, and click efficiently
Occasional light lifting and carrying of objects up to 20 pounds, such as office supplies or small equipment
Ability to move within an office, including occasional walking, bending, reaching, and climbing short flights of stairs
Clear communication, both verbal and written, including phone conversations, virtual meetings, and face-to-face
Adequate vision to read documents, use computer screens, and navigate office space
Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise, such as printers, telephones, and office conversations

Preferred

Bachelor's degree OR relevant freight brokerage experience
Recent graduate or 1-2 years of experience – no experience? No problem! If you have the right drive, we'll train you
Previous experience in freight brokerage or logistics preferred but not required
