Establish or continue a successful external funding track record
Produce high-quality research for publication in top-ranked journals
Contribute to systematic planning and development of the EET program
Participate in the professional and intellectual community through professional and University service
Be able to teach undergraduate courses in the Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) program
Opportunities for teaching graduate courses in the candidate’s area of expertise will also be available with other departments in the college
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the broad domain of electrical engineering technologies, emphasizing electrical and electronics engineering technology, embedded systems technology, industrial controls & automation technology, or power systems technology
A strong record of externally funded research and publication, or the demonstrated potential to establish one
Candidates that would like to be considered for an appointment with tenure must have a strong established externally funded research record in any combination of the research areas listed in the Job Description
A record of publications in peer-reviewed journal
Be able to teach undergraduate courses in the Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) program
