Responsibilities

Verifies conformance of the product to dimensional specifications

Release of material based on inspection / test results

Interprets basic engineering drawings

Effectively uses gages and measuring equipment

Records inspection data

Performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics

Enters data into the computer for analysis and prepares graphs or charts

Verifies conformance to gages to calibration standards

Understand SPC, Control Charting, FMEA's

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
