Responsibilities
Reads manufacturing orders for important customer information and details
Evaluates the quality of the starter piece
Assembles wires into starter piece
Monitors the following quality areas throughout the assembly process: Twist, Bow, Curve, Ends, Belt Width, Tightness, Parallel, Skips, and Bend Test
Performs the bend test at the beginning of each belt and every three hours
Rerolls the belt upon completion
Helps monitor quality of belt during reroll upon completion
Uses pneumatic staple gun to make the proper size cardboard box
Writes correct information on the box
Bands the box and places in the designated area
Bows belts (either positive or negative) as required
Repairs edges using wire cutters and pliers
Uses saw to cut cardboard poles
Edge bending using bending dies
Make splice clips
Work at different workstations as production needs require
