Boldyn Networks is reimagining the future of interconnectivity, and they are seeking a Field Service Intern to assist their service organization. The intern will have direct interaction with customers and support the Field Services Representative with maintenance and operational support for network equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service to customers

Work with FSR to address end-user and network escalations

Perform weekly network testing

Perform monthly maintenance of network equipment

Work with FSR to coordinate client activities (e.g., move-in)

Monitor, investigate, and retire equipment alarms

Generate reports as required

Other documentation and administrative duties as requested

Basic understanding of networking and multiple operating systems

Enrolled in a degreed program at an accredited college/university

Ability to operate under minimal supervision

Ability to work logically and methodically to resolve service issues under direction from NOC

Excellent written and spoken communication skills (ability to communicate comfortably with college students, dormitory employees, university officials, and owners and management of properties)

Business professional manner and presentation in a variety of scenarios (from changing a switch in a data closet to meeting with university officials or property owners)

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb a ladder

This role requires you to maintain a valid driver's license for the purposes of using your own vehicle for work purposes
