Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County is seeking a Development Manager - Special Events to lead their annual fundraising events and develop additional complementary events. This role is focused on overseeing the planning and execution of events to achieve significant financial goals, contributing to the organization's overall development efforts.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing all annual events, including the Youth of the Year dinner, Rise and Shine Breakfast, Great Future’s Dinner, and Sporting Clays Tournament with an annual fundraising goal of $2,000,000+

Assist Senior Director, as well as other managers, with additional cultivation and friend-raising events

Coordinate with Senior Director of Development, volunteer chairs, and committees on all aspects of fundraising for events, including table and team sales, underwriting, and auction item solicitation

Manage event budget, vendor procurement and contract negotiation

Maintain a complete file of event donors, prospect and invitation lists, and printed and promotional pieces

Oversee acknowledgement of event contributions and prepare reports in conjunction with the Development Coordinator

Create and prepare all event coordination documents. Examples include: Run of Show, agenda, briefing packet, script, project leaders list, RSVP reports, fundraising reports

Oversee the creation of all event related materials, both print and electronic. This includes invitations, save the dates, videos, programs, scripts, and more

Coordinate all non-fundraising events including, but not limited to: ribbon cuttings, grand openings, press conferences and receptions

Create comprehensive promotional plan (digital, print and media) to promote, recognize sponsors/donors and elevate all events

Assist the Vice President of Development, Senior Director of Development and CEO with other special projects as necessary

Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required or as assigned
