Responsibilities

Assembles transformer instrument control panels, performs necessary connections, and handles programming and calibration for operational readiness
Conducts quality inspections and documents the process to ensure compliance with technical standards
Assists in developing and maintaining technical instructions for instrument control assembly and connection procedures
Training and mentoring of new hires into department
Planning and reviewing the tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plan and manufacturing standards
Responsible to fulfill and/or to support to fulfill all protocols, policies, guidelines, and competences coming from all current system [EHS, QA, CyberSec, etc.]

Required

High school degree or equivalent with relevant technical training/experience
At least 1 years of experience in instrument controls connection and assembly
Ability to use math, read and interpret complex drawings
Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community colleges
Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain certification for working in heights
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests
Must also be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English
Must be authorized to work in the US without need for sponsorship
Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training
