Responsibilities
Handle complex fund finance transactions, including syndicated lending, commercial lending, leveraged finance, and NAV financings
Advise clients on fund formation, CLOs, asset-based lending, and acquisition financings
Draft, review, and negotiate key financing documents
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients on deal structuring and strategy
Build relationships with preeminent financial institutions, asset managers, and lending clients
Provide insightful legal counsel in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates
Qualification
Required
J.D. from a top law school with strong academic credentials
3-6+ years of experience at a law firm or in-house, specializing in fund finance, syndicated lending, leveraged finance, CLOs, or acquisition financings
Strong technical expertise in fund finance transactions, including asset-based lending, NAV financings, and fund formation
Exceptional legal writing, research, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Client-focused with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
