Lab Coordinator - Psychiatry and Behavioral Health
Penn State University is hiring a Lab Coordinator for the Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Department. The role involves coordinating daily lab operations, training staff in task design and EEG data collection, overseeing data analysis, and supporting participant recruitment and study efforts.

Responsibilities
Coordinate daily lab operations for the Attention and Behavior Clinic
Train all new staff in task design and application and EEG data collection
Maintain, log, and enhance existing hardware and identify and obtain new hardware as well as program new tasks
Oversee data analysis and quality, oversee budgets and procurement, draft technical reports for grants and assist with future project development, IRB submissions and publication of study manuscripts
Assist with all study roles and be actively involved with participant recruitment, screening and enrollment (including completion of semi-structured diagnostic interviews)
Update regulatory documents, coordinate study efforts across team members, and collection of EMA survey and neurophysiology data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
Past research experience in behavioral health
Experience in the maintenance and enhancement of EEG hardware, processing software and programming software for task adaptation and development
Ability to assist with participant recruitment, screening and enrollment (including completion of semi structured diagnostic interviews)
Ability to update regulatory documents
Ability to coordinate study efforts across team members
Ability to collect EMA survey and neurophysiology data
PA State Police Criminal Background Check
PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
Authorization to work in the U.S
Preferred
Experience working with youth in clinical or research settings
Experience with EEG/ERP data collection
Experience programming basic cognitive tasks
Experience developing surveys in REDCAP
