Lead Teacher - Child Development
Eliada Homes is a longstanding nonprofit in Western North Carolina, dedicated to providing a continuum of services for children and youth. The Lead Teacher in Child Development plays a crucial role in designing and implementing educational activities for children up to 5 years old, focusing on their social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development.

Responsibilities
Write and implement daily/weekly lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for children in care
Meet children’s physical, emotional, and educational needs through close supervision, observation, and supportive one-on-one and group interactions
Assist the Director in creating service plans for children with special needs
Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date classroom records and documentation
Communicate with administrative staff to ensure licensing, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently upheld
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, or currently enrolled in this program, is required for this position
Comparable degrees include, but not limited to, Psychology, Social Work, and Elementary Education
