Responsibilities
Act as Developer Consultant to a matrix of individual Engineering sub-teams
Champion best practices around reliability and operational efficiency across the firm
Build robust and scalable solutions that drive wider business performance
Qualification
Required
BS Computer Science or related subject
Strong programming proficiency in any of the following high level languages: Python, Java, C/C++ or Go with a proven track record of automation and an algorithmic approach to problem solving
Excellent command of Linux - tuning, systems programming
Experience with any automated configuration management tools - i.e. - Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, Terraform, CloudFormation etc
