Responsibilities

Define and implement national sales strategies to grow the farm replacement tire business across rural and semi-urban markets
Monitor market dynamics, crop cycles, and government policies to identify new opportunities
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams to enhance Goodyear’s brand relevance in the farm segment
Strengthen and expand the rural dealer network to ensure high availability and visibility of Goodyear farm tires
Identify, appoint, and nurture high-potential channel partners in untapped territories
Oversee dealer onboarding, training, pricing, credit management, and incentive programs
Lead a team of Regional Sales Managers, Territory Managers, and Field Executives focused on farm tire sales
Foster a high-performance culture through goal setting, accountability, and talent development
Conduct regular market visits, ride-alongs, and channel partner meets to stay close to field realities
Own the P&L for the farm replacement business, driving profitability, revenue, and volume growth
Manage sales forecasting, inventory planning, and logistics coordination with internal teams
Ensure effective use of trade schemes, market development funds, and ROI-focused initiatives
Support farmer outreach through field demos, training, and agri-events
Build long-term trust with end users by promoting Goodyear’s value proposition in farm productivity, tire life, and ROI
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure resolution in coordination with customer service and technical teams

Required

15+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a senior sales role in farm equipment, agri-inputs, FMCD, or rural automotive sales
Strong knowledge of India's agricultural landscape, rural channel dynamics, and crop-based seasonality
Proven experience managing rural distributor/dealer networks
Analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving
