Responsibilities
Design and complete assigned projects on time, within budget and of high quality
Perform design of hydraulic projects on a daily basis
Ability to work alone and in small groups
Assist in field surveys for hydraulic projects
Lead and mentor junior Water Resources staff
Responsible for QA/QC process
Compile scope and fee for projects
Monitor project finances bi-weekly
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Maintain and manage excellent communication with clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
North Carolina PE or the ability to obtain within one year
Minimum of 10 years of hydraulic engineering experience
Proficient in FEMA Flood Studies
Proficient with MicroStation and GEOPAK Drainage / ORD
Experience with NCDOT & Municipal drainage and erosion control practices and design
Familiarity with the design of storm water BMP's
Must be willing to travel on occasion
