Responsibilities

Provide leadership in functional design, implementation, and sustain the SAP Production Planning, SAP ME and Mfg applications
Perform deep data to translate complex business information to actionable system activities; recommend best practices; and present associated technical process components
Operate as a credible IT thought principal for manufacturing execution business functions
Work with key business stakeholders to evaluate requirements and assess impact of use cases, to ensure the solution will produce desired business outcomes
Investigate, research and evaluate new applications and/or technologies and application integrations that will improve business productivity
Identify gaps between current and future state of business processes and helps in prioritizing opportunities to improving processes through the use of inbuilt features in Mfg application
Identify and participate in prioritization of business capabilities and act as a springboard for building mature and scalable processes
Ensure that solutions designed by analysts are scalable and in sync with business needs
Coaches other team members with design and thought leadership to achieve organizational goals
Interact on a day-to-day basis with other analysts, business leadership, SME and IT team members to help business operations and drive change management
Facilitate change management and transition to future state working with various stakeholders

Required

Experience implementing MES in a medical device or high-tech manufacturing industry is required
Minimum 7+ years of Implementing SAP ME and other related MES solutions is required
Must have in depth experience in SAP – PP, MES (SAP ME), SAP master data and touchpoints with other SAP modules in SAP S4 is required
Must have in depth knowledge of business processes in the areas of production planning, manufacturing execution, manufacturing operations, production management, labor or workforce management, machine integrations, production process controls etc
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience is required
Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Exceptional social skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of team members at all levels of the organization
This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday every week
Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred

Experience with end to end manufacturing operations processes (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, quality control, Inventory Management) is desired
Experience in medical device manufacturing or lifesciences industry is preferred
Project management
SAP certification
CPIM or CSCP certification
