Responsibilities
Actively identify, source, and evaluate new investment opportunities with middle market sponsors through an established network of relationships with private equity firms and other financial intermediaries
Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline aligned with the firm's investment strategy
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industry contacts to generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality deal flow
Work with internal credit and underwriting teams to analyze potential transactions, assess credit risk, and structure customized financing solutions that meet the needs of both the client and the firm
Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and industry changes to identify new business opportunities and inform strategy
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including credit, legal, operations, and portfolio management, to ensure a seamless client experience and successful transaction completion
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or CFA is a plus
10+ years of experience in capital markets, middle-market lending, fund finance, or investment banking
Extensive network of relationships with private equity firms, M&A advisors, and other relevant intermediaries
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
