They are seeking a Director of Revenue Recognition to lead critical accounting functions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other applicable accounting standards; partner with Sales, Operations, and Legal teams to review contracts and identify revenue implications; monitor deferred revenue, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness; drive improvements in revenue forecasting, reporting, and analysis

Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity to support business operations and growth; oversee daily cash operations, including disbursements, investments, and account reconciliations; develop and maintain cash flow forecasting models; optimize treasury policies, banking structures, and controls to reduce risk and improve efficiency

Lead administration of commission plans, ensuring timely and accurate calculations, accruals, and payments; collaborate with Sales Operations and HR to review plan structures and ensure compliance with policies; provide analysis and reporting to leadership on commission trends, costs, and alignment with company goals; implement systems and process improvements to enhance transparency and reduce errors

Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement; partner with FP&A, Sales, and Executive leadership to provide insights into revenue, cash flow, and compensation impacts; support external audit, tax, and compliance requirements related to revenue, treasury, and compensation; drive process automation and system enhancements to strengthen internal controls and streamline reporting
