Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain company credit and collections policies
Assess and approve customer credit limits, terms, and risk levels
Oversee collections activities to ensure timely payments and reduction of delinquent accounts
Monitor portfolio performance, DSO, and cash flow metrics; prepare and present reports to senior leadership
Resolve escalated customer issues related to billing, disputes, and payment terms
Partner with sales and finance teams to balance risk with business opportunities
Lead, mentor, and develop a dynamic credit and collections team
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
10+ years of progressive credit and collections experience, with at least 7+ years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of credit risk management, accounts receivable, and collections practices
Proven ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Experience with ERP systems and credit/collections software
Results-oriented with a track record of improving DSO, cash flow, and portfolio performance
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes
Industry Knowledge
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change

Preferred

MBA or professional certification preferred such as CCE
Wholesale / Retail customer experience a plus
