Responsibilities
Team leaders will be responsible for developing and nurturing a team of sales tax return filers. Team leaders not only instill teamwork within the team but across the filing department
Team leaders will be responsible for making sure the team archives its goals as well as the department hitting its combined goal
Team leaders are also responsible for personal production and clients will be assigned to the sales tax team leader who will manage all aspects of the sales tax returns filing process. This may include data retrieval, funds request, processing and filing of sales tax returns, payment processing, notice clearing and account reconciliation
Team Leaders are expected to accurately file at least 350 returns a month
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have at least two years of recent experience filing at least 100 sales tax returns per month
Ideal candidates will have third-party sales tax return preparation experience for multiple clients in multiple states in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of sales tax return preparation, filing, and payment experience
We are a fast-paced high-volume firm. You must be able to work quickly and accurately
Prior supervisory experience is a plus
