Responsibilities
Perform daily project administration and coordination for construction projects related to heavy transportation infrastructure
Lead the inspection staff including reviewing daily inspector reports
Handle project correspondence and maintain accurate records
Produce estimates
Assist with the change order process
Review contractor payroll reports and EEO documents
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Licensed Professional Engineer plus substantial years of highway construction experience, or NICET IV plus substantial years of highway construction experience
Field Inspection Experience, substantial professional years experience
Supervisory Experience, substantial professional years experience
Knowledge of NJSDOT construction policies and procedures
Basic knowledge of CPM scheduling techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer and mathematical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Site Manager Experience
A valid driver's license
Preferred
Could have New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) License
