The MRI technologist will provide imaging services utilizing Magnetic Resonance medical equipment, perform various MRI procedures, and ensure patient safety in the MRI suite.

Responsibilities
Provide imaging services utilizing Magnetic Resonance medical equipment
Perform a variety of MRI procedures, invasive and non-invasive on a variety of patients
Utilize sterile technique if necessary, operating complex MRI equipment and assist physicians as needed
Manipulate computer data and images for interpretation, and reproduce them on film, and/or utilize a networking system for permanent storage
Function without constant supervision, demonstrating independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative
Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures
Ensure the safety of patients and staff in the MRI suite, and implement patient MRI screening
Qualification
Required
Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program
Must be ARRT and/or ARMRIT registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
BLS certified
Two (2) years of experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology department or have approved experience gained through a clinical education program in MRI
Preferred
Two (2) years' experience in MRI
