Case Manager Intern
Family Service Association is a comprehensive private, non-profit social service agency dedicated to providing strength and support to individuals and families throughout southeastern Massachusetts. They are currently accepting applications for an unpaid fall internship in their Guardianship program, where the Case Manager Intern will assist with legal matters concerning clients and gain relevant experience in case management services.

Responsibilities
Shadow Case Managers in office and in the field in order to gain relevant experience and knowledge to assist with case management services
Assist with making contact via email or phone with collateral contacts to maintain continuity of clients care with care providers, hospitals and other professionals
Understand and utilize agency software (Care logic & Great Plains) for billing and documentation purposes
Enter all completed tasks into appropriate clients record
Assist as necessary with clerical duties in the program, such as filing, scanning and filing within client’s records
Follow policies and procedures established by the Guardianship Program
When deemed appropriate by Clinical Case Manager Supervisor, complete face-to-face visits with clients at their place of residence and complete assessment visit documentation in Care logic (without case manager supervision)
Assist Clinical Case Manager Supervisor with record reviews, documentation, compliance, and implementation of policy and procedure
Respond to reasonable expectations of the Agency and/or supervisor
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program at an accredited college or university in the Social Work or Psychology Field
Must be able to successfully complete a MA State CORI check & CPS check
