Penn State University is seeking enthusiastic and responsible students to join their team as Student Ambassadors in the Department of Nuclear Engineering. The Ambassadors will support departmental outreach activities, communicate with event organizers, and assist in coordinating volunteer events and service projects.

Responsibilities

Support departmental outreach activities (local travel), and student engagement, not limited to the University Park campus

Communicate effectively with event organizers, faculty coordinators, and other parties

Ensure events run smoothly by addressing any issues that arise promptly

Assist in coordinating volunteer events and service projects, including recruitment, logistics, and promotion

Ensure all service and civic engagement initiatives prioritize inclusion, belonging, and accessibility

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check

A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks
