Fidelity Bank is seeking an experienced Principal Data Modeler to support their Fidelity Funds & Investment Operations (FFIO) team in developing next-generation data models for alternative investments. The role involves creating and maintaining data models, collaborating with business and engineering partners, and ensuring adherence to data modeling standards and practices.

Responsibilities

Deliver data modeling solutions for FFIO business and technology functions by partnering with business teams, functional architects, and other technical resources

Inventory, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Gather and analyze business data requirements to deliver well architected physical database structures

Identify business critical gaps and discrepancies in database design and actively propose and implement remediation tactics

Define, champion, and govern data modeling standards and practices

Manage organizational data model blueprint to provide reference and framework to the systems development efforts

Foster effective relationships with product managers, and technical leads
